Broward Health Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale’s largest healthcare facility.

Full Time Eligible 80 Hours per pay period. Monday – Friday Days. Weekends as needed. MSN and 4 years related experience or BSN and 6 years related experience. Requires completion of MSN program within 3 years of hire. State of Florida RN or ARNP license required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required. Requires in-depth knowledge of Medical/Surgical, Critical Care experience. Certification in area of specialty required within two years of employment. Coordinates the care of the Stroke patient population and oversees the operations of the Stroke Program. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, using evidence based practice to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical practice guidelines. Coordinates the effort between physicians, hospital administration and staff while tracking the progress of the program and identifying areas for improvement. Serves as daily liaison between the patients and their family, the medical center, physicians and professional staff. Facilitates performance improvement activities and identifies growth opportunities for this patient population.
