Summary:
Provides specialized clinical activities relating to designated clinical programs in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Performs various types of medication utilization activities within a defined area, including but not limited to anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, order verification, and IV to PO-conversions. Participates in committees and represents the department of pharmacy throughout the hospital or ambulatory settings within the area of focus.

This position will cover the emergency department and related pharmacy functions in support of our level I trauma unit as well as other levels of emergency care.

The ideal candidate will have post graduate educational experience, ideally in emergency medicine or worked in the relevant experience for at least 3 years.

This position will cover the nights shifts on a rotating 7 on 7 off schedule.
