Performs cardiac surgical or cardiac thoracic and related clinical evaluations, problem assessments, initiates diagnostic and treatment plans, and educates patients. Additional duties in precepting students/new employee, performing quality management activities, and providing community/professional education offering. The PA may perform medical services only when such services are rendered under the supervision of a fully licensed physician.
