Summary:
The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the inter-disciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient. Under direct supervision provides direct and indirect patient care.
- Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing or BSN).
Experience:
- RN License to practice as a professional Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
Credentials:
- Registered Nurse
- BLS through AHA or Red Cross. ACLS to be obtained 6 months after unit orientation
- Job/department related certification/license as outlined in the specific job description
