FULL-TIME – MONDAY – FRIDAY – DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED
This position is an entry level IT position with potential for growth. Required education/experience: 4-year Bachelor’s degree – preferably in healthcare admin or one of the myriad of Healthcare technology areas OR a 2-year degree with 2 years of experience in IT. Relevant IT clinical experience in a complex healthcare environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products required. Experience with Cerner Millennium FirstNet, SurgiNet, PowerChart or other EHR systems preferred.
Ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and customer service skills. Superior written and communication skills are highly desired as the organization is searching for someone who possesses excellence in their overall communication and presentation abilities. Critical to this role is for the individual be an active, partner who is a self-starter that can participate on various projects, go-live activities; someone who is committed to resolving application problems and assessing new functionality to determine feasibility and suitability for Broward Health.
