Performs bed placement functions for in-patients, emergency department patients, direct admissions and transfers in order to ensure: patients are placed in the most appropriate bed, customer satisfaction and quality patient care. Collects pertinent information to determine proper placement of patients, transfer information and maintenance of transfer logs.
