Assists physicians and other health care professionals with a variety of patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O). Provides oversight to Medical Assistant I’s.
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or EMT Program or two years on the job validated training
Two years of related experience or 90 days Broward Health experience and successful competency validation through Broward Health skills mentoring.
HCP- BLS, Phlebotomy and POC Lab Services Training.
Basic computer proficiency.
