Assists providers and other health care professional with a variety of patient and clinical support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O).
Education (or equivalent years of experience): Medical Assisitant II:
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or EMT Program or
two years on the job validated training.

Experience for Medical Assitant II:
Two years of related experience or 90 days Broward Health experience and successful competency validation through Broward Health skills mentoring.
Education (or equivalent years of experience): Medical Assisitant I:
High school graduate or equvalent.
Experience for Medical Assistant I:
One year of related experience or graduate of a Medical Assistant formal training program.
One year of related experience or graduate of a Medical Assistant formal training program. H
BLS Required from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Hire-On/Retention Bonus for Medical Assistant with One Year Experience: $8,000.00
