Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS cards required.
 
Experience in a Hospital Acute Care setting within the past 3 years strongly preferred.. At least 2 years Hospital experience in Critical Care.  Must be willing to float to all Critical Care and Stepdown units.
 
Good communication skills. Independent worker, good teamplayer, critical thinker, good customer service. We have a tiered level of telemetry units ranging from remote telemetry to progressive cardiac care. Telemetry experience including the interpretation of rhythm strips and the titration of vasoactive drugs is required. You will also be expected to successfully complete the PBDS competency assessment. We are committed to providing our patients with a positive experience and our staff a healthy work environment. The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the inter-disciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient.
