Summary:  Assists physicians and other health care professionals with a variety of patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M.D. or D.O). 

Education:
* Tech/Trade Certification
* High School Diploma or GED

Education specialization:

* Medical Assistant – Or 2 years on the job validated training.

* Emergency Medical Technician –  Or 2 years on the job validated training.

Credentials:
* Basic Life Support
