Summary:
Coordinates the care for the stroke patient population and oversees program operations. Tracks program progress, identifies areas for clinical improvement, and serves as the daily liaison between patients, families, the medical center, physicians, and professional staff.

Education:

* Master's Preferred

* Bachelor's Required

* Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program

Experience:

* 4-6 years related experience

Essential:
* Certified in Area of Specialty ( Certification in area of specialty within 2 years of employment)
* Registered Nurse License
* Advanced Practice Registered Nurse ( Certification from the Academy of Nurse Practitioners)

* BLS – American Red Cross or American Heart Association

* ACLS – American Red Cross or American Heart Association
