Provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services and interprets images for ultrasound procedures. Assists the cardiologist and gathers cardiac data to inform diagnostic decisions.

Education:

* Graduate from an Accredited Radiology Program

Education specialization:

* Ultrasound Technology

Experience:

* Six months of related experience

Credentials:

* RCS – Registered Cardiac Sonographer  or
* RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Certification required within one year of employment)
* BLS – American Red Cross or American Red Cross
