FULL-TIME – MONDAY – FRIDAY – DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED

 
The Lead Implementation Coach (LIC) is responsible for the supervision and management of the coordination of the Florida Embedded Practices and Intervention with Caregivers (FL-EPIC) in Early Steps. This individual is responsible for professional development activities, including training and coaching activities. The LIC is responsible for coaching Early Steps providers to implement home visiting practices and embedded interventions with families as well as collecting associated coaching and child and family outcome data. 
 
This individual collaborates with the Institution of Higher Education (IHE) team and the Professional Development Unit of the Early Steps State Office (ESSO) to ensure fidelity of implementation of FL-EPIC Early Steps Professional Development and other aligned professional development activities within the local Early Steps (LES) program, which includes supporting Provider Coaches’ implementation of coaching.
  • Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal 4 year program (in childhood education, communication sciences, psychology, social work or related field).  Master’s degree is preferred.


  • 3 years direct service experience with the target population (birth to 5-year-old children with special needs and/or developmental delays and their families.) Direct service is interpreted as post degree early intervention, early childhood education or counseling.  Five years of direct service experience is required for an out-of-field degree
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
  • Knowledge about Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the FL Early Steps program. Experience providing early intervention services to families and children birth to age 3 in natural environments. Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Zoom.
