Summary:
Manages region-wide risk management activities. Administers the risk management program to reduce the frequency and severity of events. Manages and analyzes risk management data; conducts educational programs. Gathers data for insurance renewal, assists with investigation and resolution of claims, and complies with risk management standards. Promotes patient safety and quality care; minimizes the loss to protect the assets of the organization.

Education:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.

Experience:
Essential:
* Five years of  risk related acute hospital experience required.

Credentials:
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is preferred.
* Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred.
