Summary: The applications they review include electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software used in patient care. The clinical system associate will work closely with healthcare providers, IT staff, and Broward Health Leaders in an effort to better understand an organization's processes and workflows. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Information Systems and clinical management on deployment, developing data analysis and reconciliation strategies, and leading troubleshooting support on new programs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Clinical Systems Analyst Associate conducts testing to ensure that systems meet functional and performance requirements.

• Analyze clinical workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

• Offer ongoing support to address user questions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operation.

• Continuously monitoring system performance and user feedback

• Propose and implement system enhancements to improve usability, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

• Ensuring that clinical systems comply with healthcare regulations (such as HIPAA in the United States) and implementing security measures to protect patient data are critical responsibilities.

• Participate in IT projects related to clinical systems, from initial planning through to implementation and evaluation.
