Summary:
Reports to the Nurse Manager of the Stepdown department and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering and evaluating twenty-four hour operation of one or more nursing units. In doing so, duties are assigned based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc. Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders and notes patients' charts. Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.

Education (or equivalent years of experience):

• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing
• Associate's Degree

Experience (or equivalent education): 

• Two (2) years experience required

Credentials:

• BLS and ACLS Cerrifications required
