Summary:
The Employee Activities Coordinator will develop, plan, and coordinate events, activities, and outings, for employees, working in tandem with the Manager of Employee Engagement, to shape the employee experience at Broward Health. This new and highly visible position will be instrumental in partnering to create and implement efficient and effective people-centered programs, practices and processes, in order to offer an outstanding work experience to potential and existing staff. Key culture initiatives that will be created, reviewed, and potentially redesigned may include Employee Engagement Surveys, Employee Orientation, Event Planning, Awards Ceremonies, Employee Check-ins, Focus Groups, and other feedback endeavors. This position will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships and will be participate in department related events. This role may occasionally require the need to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our staff.

Education:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.

Experience:
* Three-five years of progressive HR, Employee Engagement, or Company Event Planning experience.
* Experience must include coordination of activities & events, and experience handling conflicts in human relationships.

Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally & in writing.
