Clinical Systems Support

Under direction of manager, responsible for day to day support activities and all aspects of assigned projects. As required, defines project scope and objectives. Conducts or participates in projects and tactical meetings and is responsible for issue tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews deliverables with customers. Assists with integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to assigned teams or staff. Transitions newly implemented projects to operational support teams as required. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Provides on-call support and participates in Service Center activities as required.

Qualified candidate must have 4 years relevant IS or Business unit experience in a healthcare environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience designing, building and supporting Cerner Clinical Applications such as Surginet, CareNet, Maternity, and Case Management required. On-call rotation required. Knowledge of Microsoft office suite products required. Must have at least three years of experience working with supporting clinical customers, project IT work and communication with various types of end users. Candidate must have proven problem solving, analytical, communication and customer service skills and will be expected to manage project tasks at various levels of complexity.
