Summary:
The Director, Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) is responsible for the strategic oversight, formulary development, implementation, and management of pharmacy benefit programs. This role ensures cost-effective, clinically appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services while optimizing member/patient outcomes. The Director partners with internal stakeholders, pharmacy benefit managers, broker, vendors, and clinical teams to drive performance, regulatory compliance, and innovation in pharmacy benefit delivery.
Education:
Essential:
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
Experience:
* Seven-Ten (7-10) years of experience in Pharmacy Benefits, Managed Care or Healthcare Administration. This includes at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
Credentials:
* Florida Pharmacist license required.
* Florida Consultant Pharmacy license preferred.
