Summary:
Leads the team with the operations and management of various imaging system(s) within multiple departments and inpatient/outpatient locations. Provides entity-level leadership for project planning, installation, testing, and training of staff and physicians for assigned system(s). Manages system monitoring, effective functionality, storage media, configuration modifications, support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

Education: Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal 4-year program preferred.

Experience: At least four years of IT Imaging System/Application experience required

Credentials: This position requires senior experience with IT, including Radiology, Cardiovascular, Neurology, PACS administration, Cerner, Epic, Meditech, or other EHR experience required. Epic Cupid certification and experience preferred. Imaging system integration with Epic experience preferred. Additional experience with clinical workflows in Cardiology, Radiology and various other clinical areas required. Experience with modalities and device integration preferred. Healthcare technical knowledge is required. Additional experience with Sleep Centers, Neurology applications, other clinical PACS software/hardware a plus. Candidates with IT troubleshooting and maintenance experience required. Candidate must have proven skills in the following areas – analytical, organized, multi-tasking, independent worker, problem solving, issue resolution, excellent communication, and ability to provide excellent customer service. Successful candidate is willing to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
